Manchester United have accepted a world-record offer of £80m for Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.The Premier League champions made the agreement after Ronaldo - the reigning world footballer of the year - requested the move, United's website said.
Real Madrid have now been granted permission to discuss the move with the 24-year-old, which United believe will be concluded by June 30.
