R&B singer Mark Morrison has been arrested over an assault, Sky sources say.A statement from police said: "Police were called to the lobby area of Warren House, Beckford Close, London W14 at 2150 on 10th June 2009 to a report of an assault.
"A 37-year-old male was arrested for common assault on a 36-year-old male.
"The suspect was taken to Chelsea police station he was subsequently bailed to a date in July pending further enquires."
Morrison achieved chart success in the 1990s with his single Return Of The Mack, which reached number one in the UK and number two in America.
He is due to release a new album, IAMWHATIAM, in September, according to his website.
